SIA Board, Administration, and Faculty have worked diligently this summer in preparing a plan to reopen the school on August 10, 2020. In this changing environment, no plan is perfect. However, we feel we have developed a plan for a safe return to school. We realize that new situations will arise, but we will work extremely hard to remedy those problems as they occur.
In these unprecedented times, COVID-19 has presented the nation with a period of uncertainties. The virus is fluid and everchanging; therefore, the school is prepared to make the necessary safeguards for a more stringent plan. SIA’s goal is to protect our students, their families, the faculty, and staff. As the year progresses, the restrictions may relax if the virus lessens. We want our children back on campus to continue learning in a classroom setting and the opportunity to participate in sports and extracurricular activities.
Again, we want our students to return to a regular classroom setting, so please continue to pray for the safety of our administration, faculty, staff, students, and their families.
